1. Animal Welfare Assistant (AWA)<\/strong>
\nAWA’s are qualified, experienced animal handlers with a clear understanding of the vision\/mission of the SPCA. A confident ability to handle a multitude of situations and take on multiple roles to support the welfare of animals. This includes animal rescue, assessment, rehabilitation, rehoming and education.<\/p>\n

\nRequirements:<\/strong>
\nUniversity degrees are favored. Experience not necessary; willingness to learn essential.
\n2. Education & Events Officer<\/strong>
\nWe are looking looking for an Education & Events officer to join and support the team in humane education, events management & campaigns.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Conducting our Pet Care Programme (PCP) and other educational activities
\n\u2022 Events planning and management
\n\u2022 Support for SPCA activities, programmes and services
\n\u2022 Support for fundraising initiatives
\nRequirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Malaysian aged above 25 years old
\n\u2022 Have experience in education, marketing, public relations or events
\n\u2022 Must have an interest in teaching\/ presenting on concepts in animal welfare, as well as develop lesson plans and educational materials for all demographics
\n\u2022 Teaching qualifications & experience a plus
\n\u2022 Computer literate
\n\u2022 Able to write and speak fluently in Bahasa Malaysia and English
\n\u2022 Must possess own vehicle and valid drivers license
\n\u2022 Able to work independently, and as part of a team
\n\u2022 Willing to work on weekends when required
\n\u2022 Remuneration based on qualifications, experience and capabilities.
